I also tried out the Song of Blades and Heroes using my 28mm collectible Star Wars minis. I only used light saber or melee characters. It was a disaster for the light side.
Look at the last picture and you can see how bad it was. The front two guys were on the light side. I had a good time. I then found in my files the rules that would allow for blasters. I look forward to trying these some more. My 13 yr old and I thought how this would be fun with some small collectible Minecraft figures. Problem is they're $3.50 each.
