Just purchased Iron Cross WWII miniature rules. Mainly to adapt the command token system to Blitzkrieg Commander. But it could also be a fun game.
Bought from Kings Hobbies and Games - https://www.facebook.com/kingshobbies/https://www.facebook.com/kingshobbies/
Table that Tim had set up. His normal Tuesday night game is currently trying out Battlegroup.
Spread it on wax paper.
Use trall/sp - spreader thing - a little wider than I may want (you can trim)
Spread sand or grit or ballast
Use a tool to make tracks
(I wonder if you could add static grass at this point?)
Dry 24 hours
Peel from wax paper
Paint light brown/tan
Pigment different shades
I've used caulk in the past to make edging on Perspex roads. I think it was a silicone type. I painted it with acrylic paints. My chums were very surprised that the paint stuck!
ReplyDeleteI've been told to use the acrylic version as painting will not be an issue. I haven't tried it yet.
Your example seems to be both acrylic and silicone.
