Time for Gaming...for anything

Man, do I feel Frontliner Gamer's pain.  Time is tight.  It's tight just to get the real life stuff done, let alone any hobby time.  We always need to make sure we're taking care of the most important things first.  Something I need to remind myself of all the time.

Go read his "Sunday Sermon" here.

And then, a new reader to the blog, Thomos, mentioned the latest Warning Order. I've mentioned this before on the blog, but this has to be one of the best wargaming club newsletters out there. Incredible. Reviews, AARs, books, boardgames, miniatures, event reports.  Good stuff. They seem to really know how to run a club.  I would be very interested in knowing more about how they're structured, where they're located, how they pay for stuff, etc.

It seems like a proper club similar to what is in England.

Anyway, in issue #34, there's a story discussing the four hour barrier.  How this seems to be a point where people will commit to a game.  And he asks why the struggles for time. Interesting in light of the Frontline's post.

Download issue #34 of Warning Order here.

Maybe I would have more time for gaming if I weren't spending so much time creating blog posts and videos?

  1. Todd, you do shoot a mean video, so certainly hope you don't give it up.

I'm intrigued by BKC II now, and have your video skills (and all-around fun approach to the hobby) to blame for causing me to have to get yet another ruleset! :)))
