I wanted to give this game another try, and what better day than to launch it on June 6th. My other AARs won't have this long intro. And, as much as I would like to play this day by day, I'm not sure I have the patience for that. So, without further ado, here's the invasion phase introduced by Ike.
I should say that my tying together of history and gaming should in no way be taken as my flippant attitude toward what happened and what these games are modelling. Playing these games and studying the history make me quite aware of the sacrifice made by the men, women and their families for this particular event.
